About your practitioner

Hi!

I am a 4th generation practitioner of Structural Integration. I am trained in the ROLF METHOD of fascia work created by Dr Ida P. Rolf PhD in the 1930-70s. She taught this method to Peter Melchior and Emmett Hutchins. These men taught my teachers Nilce Silveira and David Davis. The method is based on a unique 10 hour protocol of treatment that Dr Rolf called her "recipe". I practice this recipe, as it was handed down to me, with all of my clients. 

I have a long history in sports, athletics and kinesiology-focused education. Movement, alignment and coaching bio-mechanics in skiing and rafting are some of my special interests.  I love human powered sports and have taught skiing and whitewater rafting for over 15 years. Being a professional outdoor educator has been a wild, life-consuming ride and I love it!

I hope I can bring my coaching skills and problem solving into our work together to help you find the resolution you are looking for in your body. Whether you are dealing with chronic pain, sports performance plateaus or something else,  I am confident that we will have a very educational time together.

My office companion is a young Red heeler named Quince. You will meet her and she often hangs out in the office during our sessions. Some say she is the true healer in the room. Can't wait to meet you!
